CVA INTERCULTURAL SEMINARS 2017-2018 “JOURNEY TO THE MOON”

The CVA’s Intercultural Seminars (ICS), co-funded by the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO), offer young students aged 15 to 17 the opportunity to engage in intercultural discovery and scientific activities.

In tri-national teams, the students get to perform hands-on experimenting with various tools: programming robots, building micro-rockets, and performing various chemistry and physics experiments.

For 2017-2018 the three ICS host Cities, all CVA Members, were Augsburg (Germany), Vernon (France) and Colleferro (Italy), and 10 young students from each of them took part in this adventure.

The 30 young participants were welcomed by the municipal authorities and visited the sites of CVA industry member associates like MT Aerospace (Augsburg), ArianeGroup (Vernon), Avio (Colleferro) and the European Space Agency’s ESRIN establishment at Frascati.

During the Seminars the participants stayed for a one-week session in each of the three host countries, supervised by a team of facilitators put together by the Peuple & Culturenetwork.

The CVA wishes to thank our partners for this very successful cycle of seminars.
