The Community of Ariane Cities (CVA) and the town of Kourou – which holds the 2015 CVA Presidency – are jointly presenting an exhibition entitled “50 Years of Space Adventure” at the Grand Hôtel Montabo, Chemin Hilaire, in Cayenne, French Guiana, from 16 July to 16 August. This exhibition is the outcome of cooperation between the French space agency CNES and the City of Liège, with the support of the European Space Agency (ESA), and Arianespace. EXHIBITION – 50 YEARS OF SPACE ADVENTURE AT THE GRAND HÔTEL MONTABO, CAYENNE (16 JULY-16 AUGUST 2015)
The 2nd Council of Mayors of the 2015 Presidency of the Community of Ariane Cities (CVA) was held on Thursday 5 November at the European Space Agency.
The Forum Ariane Lampoldshausen has taken on this year’s presidency of the Community of Ariane Cities (CVA), under the direction of mayor Harry Brunnet.
The CVA’s Intercultural Seminars (ICS), co-funded by the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO), offer young students aged 15 to 17 the opportunity to engage in intercultural discovery and scientific activities.
The inauguration of the 2017 CVA Presidency, held by the city of Toulouse in partnership with its industrial partner Telespazio France, took place on 30 January 2017 in the "Salle des Illustres” at the City Hall “Le Capitole” in Toulouse.
A conference and gathering were organised at the Town Hall by the CVA and the CVA Member City of Liège, attracting almost 50 participants.
